The following terms apply in addition to our standard Return Policy where the customer is acting as a consumer and is resident in the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA: the EU plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway). Where these terms grant you greater rights than our standard policy, these terms prevail. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.

Your right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party you have named (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods. Where your order is delivered in more than one shipment, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by a clear statement — for example, an email to contact@moutoniere.com, or by using the model withdrawal form below. Use of the form is optional. To meet the deadline, it is enough that you send your communication before the 14-day period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from your purchase, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard outbound delivery. Where you chose a delivery method more expensive than our least costly standard option, we will refund only the amount corresponding to that standard option.

We will make the reimbursement within 14 days of the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, and in any event you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is the earliest.

Returning the goods

You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before that 14-day period has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning — in other words, you may inspect and try on the goods as you would in a shop, but not use them beyond that.

Items excluded from the right of withdrawal

In line with EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized, including bespoke and made-to-order pieces from our Invent-ory Custom Atelier. Such items will be clearly identified as non-returnable on the product page before you order.
• Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons, if they have been unsealed after delivery.

All other ready-to-wear and ready-made items remain subject to the full right of withdrawal described above, regardless of any "final sale" or "clearance" designation.

Damaged or incorrect items

These withdrawal rights are separate from, and in addition to, your legal rights if an item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described. If that happens, please contact contact@moutoniere.com.
