The Invent-ory Custom Atelier, a space inside each of our boutiques, lets you see and feel the raw materials that go into each craft and commission your own version of a Moutonière product or a new bespoke product, designed especially for you.
Artists and Artisans
Our product team travels the world to identify artists and artisans working in disciplines like crystal, gems, glass, gold, lacquer, leather, painting, silk, silver, sunglasses, tailoring, and more.
Some, like London shoe-maker and leather-crafter George Cleverley, who make many of our handbags, including our signature Serena Totes, are heritage firms that have pursued and developed a craft across multiple generations. Others, like jewelry designer Katarzyna Cichy, the artist behind our Fall Winter 2025 jewelry collection, are contemporary talents who we see shaping the future of a craft.
We work with these artists and artisans to produce the Moutonière collections you see in our boutiques.

Jewelers and lapidaries can create any of our pieces in your favorite combination of precious metals and stones.

Leather artisans in London can make you a Serena Tote from a hide you pick at a Moutonière boutique — perhaps rich midnight suede or elegant emerald crocodile.
Jewelers in New York can replace the classic Moutonière hardware (rope chain, shepherd's crook center closure, and polestar buttons) with something bespoke. Perhaps a platinum rope chain and sapphire gem set closures.
Collaboration across multiple crafts lets you commission truly unique pieces.

Tailors in New York and furriers in Europe can make you a cozy blanket with sustainable chinchilla — or perhaps you prefer fox or mink.
Why not add a fur collar or a gem-set closure to a cloak from our Fall Winter 2025 collection for extra vintage chic. Or work with silk artisans in Como, Italy, to line your new bomber jacket with artwork from your favorite painter.
